TRANSPORTATION TO THE CEREMONY
Old St. Hilary's is a deconsecrated Catholic mission, located in the midst of a rare wildflower preserve. One of the few Carpenter Gothic churches to survive in its original setting, it was built in 1888 to serve railroad families. Parking is not permitted at the church. We will have a shuttle service available that will pick-up from both hotels beginning at 2:45pm. The shuttle will run approximately every 10 minutes from in front of both the Water's Edge and The Lodge at Tiburon. You may also drop guests off first, before parking and taking the shuttle.

THINGS TO DO
We hope you can join us for our wedding and enjoy a weekend getaway in lovely Tiburon. Named from the Spanish Punta de Tiburon (Shark Point), this historic railroad town is reminiscent of a quaint New England fishing village. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along Main Street and Ark Row, two of historic Tiburon's most picturesque streets, have interesting views of the town's beautifully restored buildings which date back to the late-1800's.

Tiburon Ridge Trail
In a town of views, this hidden trail, 1 mile one-way, has one of the best: a 360° vista spanning San Francisco Bay, Angel Island, and the Golden Gate Bridge. INFO: From Tiburon Blvd., take Lyford Dr. to the top.

Tiburon Bike/Walking Path
The 3-mile flat, paved, bay view–lined path follows the old railroad way. Ride or walk from downtown to Blackie's Pasture, where you can admire a statue of the real Blackie, a town mascot in the 1950s and '60s. INFO: Demo Sport: call ahead for bike rentals from $10; 1690 Tiburon Blvd.; 415/435-5111.

Take the Ferry into the City
The ferry is also a great way to get to San Francisco from Tiburon. During commuter hours, the ferry runs to the business district, during off hours, it runs to Fisherman's Wharf. It takes just 15 minutes to cross. The ferry serves coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Schedule: www.blueandgoldfleet.com.

Visit the Ferry Building in the City
Located along the Embarcadero at the foot of Market Street, this historic building has dozens of shops, large and small, that celebrate food in all its forms, but mostly the local and the yummy. On Tuesday and Saturdays, visit the excellent farmers' market held outside. This is absolutely one of our favorite things to do - the Blue Bottle Coffee is worth it. Afterwards, take a stroll along the Embarcadero -- it's beautiful on a sunny day, fingers crossed! http://www.ferrybuildingmarketplace.com/

Drink Some Wine
For those of you with even more time, Wine Country is a quick car ride away once you're over the Golden Gate Bridge. An afternoon of wine tasting is always fun, and November is a wonderful time of year to go. Sonoma and Dry Creek are our favorite areas.
